Your score uses a gap-adjusted method: base score from
your selected level (0, 33, 67, or 100), then calibrated against your confidence on a
4-point scale (Not sure at all → Very confident). Each proficiency level has an
expected confidence; overconfidence applies a −6pt penalty per step, while
underconfidence applies a +3pt bonus per step. Final scores are capped between 0 and
100.
Quadrant assignment uses the confidence gap: high-skill
items (Intermediate/Advanced) are Strengths when calibrated and Hidden Gems when
underconfident. Lower-skill items are Growing Edges unless significantly overconfident
(gap ≥ 2 steps), which signals a Stretch Zone. “Not Yet” items skip
confidence and are always classified as Growing Edges.
